The Ceramics

Kea Creations produces quality individually hand made ceramic animal sculptures from earthenware clay. As each sculpture is made individually rather than from a mould, each creation is unique and no two are the same.

Kea Creations also produces hand painted ceramic plates, featuring New Zealand's iconic plants and birds - kereru (NZ pigeon), fantail, kotare (kingfisher), nikau, flax flowers, kowhai and pohutukawa.

The Kiwis

Each kiwi is individually made, signed and numbered. Kiwi are available facing forward, to the left or to the right and can be made on request (please allow up to three weeks for production time)

The Cows

The cows are made in the form of a seated animal, focusing on an artistic, highly tactile shape.

The current design of cow is available in three sizes, small, medium and large.

The Sheep

As with the cows, the focus is on the seated form of the sheep. Sheep are currently only available in one size.

Each plate is individually hand painted, signed and numbered. They can be used for domestic or decorative purposes.

The Horses
Each horse is modeled from a specific type of horse and has a beautiful unglazed finish and is permanently attached to its matching ceramic base (felted to prevent scratches on smooth surfaces).
